Four Step Postural Assessment

Step 1.

This appointment is a private consultation with one of our Practitioners, who will assess your spine. They will take a case history, assess your active and passive range of motion and do special diagnostic tests to help identify your underlying issues. Alongside the examination, a muscle scan may be conducted to understand the state of your spinal muscles.

Where appropriate, Images of your posture and X-Rays of your spine may be conducted to further evaluate your spinal health.

Duration: 40 min

Step 2.

Results / Treatment

In this visit, your Practitioner will show and explain your results from your first visit. If appropriate, you will receive your first adjustment/treatment. This will allow the practitioner to see how you feel and how your body responds to the intervention.

Duration: 20 – 25 min

Step 3.

Spinal Workshop

The most important visit. You will partake in our spinal workshop, where we will educate you about your spine and your health in general. It is from this visit that you will truly understand how your body is functioning and what can be done to improve it. It’s time YOU take control of YOUR health.

Duration: 45 min – 1 hour

Step 4.

Your practitioner will give you another adjustment/treatment. At this stage, you will have a much better idea of what to expect and whether this right for you. If your goal/s have been achieved, great! If you would like to continue improving your spinal health with us, you can discuss with your practitioner their recommendations and what may be the appropriate plan of action for you. Any treatment recommendation they give are based of a research based model of care.
